52 14 426 Replacing seat cover for passenger seat (up to 08/09)

WARNING: US/CND front passenger seat (with OC3 mat) only:
The upholstery can only be removed in conjunction with the OC3 mat.
If upholstery is defective, both parts may only be replaced together. After fitting new upholstery, enable OC3 mat with BMW diagnosis system.

Enabling seat occupancy detection (OC3 mat):

Connect BMW diagnosis system
Release seat occupancy detection
Delete fault memory if necessary

Seat with air conditioning:

Unfasten plug connection.

Remove dividing net (1).

Remove fans (2) from upholstery.
