Only F02 with rear air conditioning

From 11/2010 (from vehicle identification number C634168  ) the new version luggage compartment trim panels is installed that requires a modified dismantling sequence.

The new version considerable reduces the effort required for "Replacing rear air conditioning microfilter". It is possible to convert the old to the new version, sometimes absolutely necessary for replacement of single luggage compartment trim panels.



Version identification: 

If the bottom area of luggage compartment partition wall (1) can be pulled out of luggage compartment-wheel arch panel (2) slightly to the rear, the new version is installed.

In this case, LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT PARTITION WALL  must firstly be removed.

If necessary, unclamp cover (1).

Unclip emergency actuator (3) from emergency actuator tensioning strap (2) with a suitable tool.

Lever out trim (1) in lashing eye (2) at opening and remove.

Release screws (3) and remove lashing eye (2).

Open holder (1) at opening (2) with a suitable tool.

Lever bracket (1) out of seal (3).

Release expanding rivets (1).

Lever out luggage compartment wheel arch trim (2) from seal (3) and remove.
