52 25 010 Removing and installing left or right rear seat

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

IMPORTANT: Do not  actuate the seat adjustment while the rear seat is removed.

Unclip left or right seat in upward direction from latch mechanism.

Disconnect all plug connections (seat heating, air conditioning).

Installation note: 

Feed in seat belt buckle through designated opening.

Adjust transverse pipe of seat pan manually to latch mechanism in seat frame.

First lift out retaining bracket (1) from seat frame toward the outside (door side) in direction of arrow.

Then lift out retaining bracket (1) from seat frame toward the inside (tunnel side) in direction of arrow.

Remove seat.

Installation note: 

First attach retaining bracket (1) on inside (tunnel side) in fixture (2) of seat frame.

Then attach retaining bracket (1) on outside (door side) in fixture (2) of seat frame.

Make sure retaining bracket (1) is correctly seated in mounting (2).
