51 43 230 Removing and installing / replacing trim on C-pillar at bottom left or right

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove BELT OUTLET TRIM
Remove ENTRANCE COVER STRIP
Remove backrest. See BACKREST (NORMAL REAR SEAT) or BACKREST (ELECTRIC REAR SEAT) .

Release plastic nuts (1).

Release plastic nuts (1).

Lever out clip (2).

Unclip trim.

Installation:

If necessary, replace faulty clip and retainers on trim.

Make sure trim is correctly seated in seal.
