34 41 250 Removing and installing/replacing expander lock for handbrake shoes

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove handbrake shoes. Refer to 34 41 220 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING ALL HANDBRAKE SHOES .

After completing tasks, adjust handbrake. Refer to 34 10 014 ADJUSTING HANDBRAKE .

Lock adjuster unit (ASZE).

Using special tool 32 1 030, press stop (1) of adjusting spring back to such an extent that retaining hook (2) engages in stop (1).

Pull expander lock (1) forwards, disconnect handbrake Bowden cable (2) and remove expander lock. Refer to 34 41 250 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING EXPANDER LOCK FOR HANDBRAKE SHOES .
