Necessary preliminary tasks

Release TRIM STRIP ON DRIP MOLDING at rear section (do not remove)

Snap out trim strip (1) in area (A) in downward direction.

Snap trim strip (1) in direction of arrow out of clips (2) and remove.

Installation:

Check all clips for visible damage.

Following components must not be damaged, replace if necessary:

Installation:

Moisten seal (1) of side window with water.

First feed in trim strip (2) behind seal (1), then snap into clips.

Seal (1) must not be trapped by trim strip (2) (risk of damage).
