13 41 550 Replacing idle actuator (S65)

Necessary preliminary tasks

Read out fault memory of DME control unit
Check stored fault messages
Switch off ignition
Remove INTAKE AIR MANIFOLD
Partially disconnect ENGINE WIRING HARNESS , raise cable duct.
Remove TANK VENTING VALVE

Release air intake hose (1).

Release idle air hose (2).

Replace clamps.

Unlock plug connection and disconnect.

Carefully lever idle actuator out of holder.

Assemble engine.

NOTE: Now clear the fault memory.
