64 11 271 Replacing water valve for heater

Follow instructions for working on cooling system. Refer to 17 00 INSTRUCTIONS FOR WORKING ON COOLING SYSTEM .

WARNING: Danger of scalding!

Only perform this work after engine has cooled down.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release hose clamps (2) and detach water hoses.

Pull out water valve for heater (3) in direction of arrow and remove.

Installation:

Ensure grommets (4) are correctly seated.

Top up coolant. Refer to 17 00 005 DRAINING AND ADDING COOLANT (S62) .
