64 11 262 Removing and installing / replacing auxiliary water pump

Follow instructions for working on cooling system. Refer to 17 00 INSTRUCTIONS FOR WORKING ON COOLING SYSTEM .

WARNING: Danger of scalding!
Only perform this work after engine has cooled down.
NOTE: For purposes of clarity, illustration does not show water valve for heater.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Unlock plug housing (2) and disconnect.

Cut through cable ties.

Release hose clamps (3) and detach water hoses.

Release screw (4) gently.

Pull auxiliary water pump (5) in direction of arrow out of mount and remove.

Installation: 

Top up coolant. Refer to 17 00 005 DRAINING AND ADDING COOLANT (S62) .
