61 71 015 Removing and installing/replacing a jet nozzle in windshield washer system

Partially detach acoustic insulation in engine hood.

NOTE: For purposes of clarity, illustration shows engine hood without acoustic insulation.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Unlock plug housing (2) and disconnect.

Detach connector (3) or distributor from spray nozzle (4).

Press out jet nozzle (4) in direction of arrow and remove.

Installation:

Ensure hose is laid without kinks.

Adjust jet nozzle. Refer to 61 71 004 Adjusting windshield washer spray nozzles .
