51 13 ... Removing and installing/replacing soundproofing in firewall (top)

Remove microfilter for passenger compartment ventilation. Refer to CABIN AIR FILTER .

Remove both windshield wiper arms. Refer to 61 61 100 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING BOTH WINDSHIELD WIPER ARMS .

Detach seal (1).

Raise soundproofing for firewall (1) in direction of arrow and pull out towards front.

Installation:

Feed in lugs (1) under windshield (2).
