51 45 051 Replacing trim for upper section of instrument panel

Remove trim for instrument panel (upper section). Refer to 51 45 050 Removing and installing trim for upper section of instrument panel .

Release screw (1) on left.

If necessary, detach retainers (2).

Release screws (3) and remove holder (4).

Release screws (1) on left.

Release screws (1) on right.

Unfasten right screw (1).

If necessary, detach retainers (2).

Release screws (3) and remove holder (4).

Release screws (1) and detach instrument panel from air duct.

Release screws (1) on reverse side in middle.

Remove centering block (2).

Release screws (1).

Remove retaining brackets (2) on left and right.

Release screws (1).

Remove retaining brackets (2) on left and right.

Remove all metal nuts (10 x) from left part of instrument panel.

Installation: 

If necessary, replace faulty metal nuts.

Remove all metal nuts (9 x) from right part of instrument panel.

Installation: 

If necessary, replace faulty metal nuts.
