26 11 052 Replacing flexible disc for rear propeller shaft

Necessary preliminary work: 

NOTE: To protect universal joints, tie back propeller shaft in area of center mount.
IMPORTANT:

Before removing propeller shaft:

The three-hole flange to the rear axle final drive is balanced with the propeller shaft.

The three-hole flange and propeller shaft must be reassembled in the same position.

Mark three-hole flange (1), flexible disc (2) and propeller shaft (3) in one plane.

Release screws and remove flexible disc (1) from propeller shaft.

Tightening torque and angle of rotation: 26 11 4AZ .

Installation note: 

IMPORTANT: Replace ZNS bolts and self-locking nuts.

Installation note: 

Check centering mount.

Replace damaged CENTERING MOUNT .

IMPORTANT: Plastic centering mount must not be greased.
