51 24 050 Removing and installing/replacing lock element (lock cylinder) for rear lid

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 24 02AZ .

Installation note: 

Press counter-supports (1) at back to prevent accompanying rotation.

Unclip Bowden cable sleeve (1).

Feed out Bowden cable nipple in direction of arrow.

Installation note: 

Make sure Bowden cable (1) is correctly positioned in rear lid.

Lay Bowden cable (1) without kinks.

Installation note: 

Perform function check with rear lid open.
