51 13 220 Removing and installing/replacing middle trim strip on rear lid

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove both rear lights

Release screws (1) on inside of rear lid.

Unlock and disconnect plug connection (2) - rear lid actuation button and plug connection (3) - reversing camera.

Carefully detach trim strip (1) from rear lid (2) with special tool 00 9 317 and remove

Installation note:

If necessary, replace damaged plastic clips (3).
