51 43 230 Removing and installing/replacing trim on C-pillar at bottom left or right

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove BELT OUTLET TRIM
Remove ENTRANCE COVER STRIP
Remove backrest. See REMOVING BACKREST FOR REAR SEAT (ELECTRIC) or REMOVING BACKREST REAR SEAT (NON-ELECTRIC) .

Release plastic nuts (1).

Release plastic nuts (1).

Lever out clip (2).

Unclip trim.

Installation note:

If necessary, replace faulty clip and retainers on trim.

Make sure trim is correctly seated in seal.
