51 34 211 Replace rubber window seal for rear left or right side window

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove COVER ON INSIDE OF DOOR WINDOW FRAME
Remove DECORATIVE STRIP FROM WINDOW FRAME

IMPORTANT: The "INSTRUCTIONS ON FITTING WINDOW GUIDE SEALS " serve as the basis for this repair instruction and must be observed without fail.

Feed out rubber guide (1) at bottom and out of side window guides.

Installation note:

Moisten rubber guide (2) for side fitting with approved lubricant, see 3. AUXILIARY MATERIALS AND TOOLS .

If necessary, retract door window glass (1) approx. 50 mm into rubber guide.

Open door window glass and at same time slide rubber guide downwards into window guide (3).

Rubber guide must not be damaged or missing.
