32 13 066 Replacing active front steering hydraulic steering gear: Replacement

Modify wiring harness on hydraulic steering gear.

After installation:

Fill and bleed hydraulic system. See BLEEDING POWER STEERING UNIT or BLEEDING POWER STEERING (VEHICLES WITH DYNAMIC DRIVE) .
Check line connections for leaks
Perform chassis alignment check. See ALIGNMENT CHECK WITH VEHICLE LOAD UP TO DESIGN POSITION or ALIGNMENT CHECK WITH RIDE HEIGHT MEASUREMENT WITHOUT VEHICLE LOAD .
Carry out ADJUSTMENT/INITIAL OPERATION FOR ACTIVE STEERING
If necessary, carry out INITIAL OPERATION FOR DYNAMIC DRIVE
