61 31 336 Removing and installing/replacing trim for gear selector switch

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove center console trim, see 51 16 160 Removing and installing/replacing center console trim (gear selector switch) .

Release screws (1) and raise trim for gear selector switch (2) slightly. Tightening torque 61 31 3AZ , see 61 31 SWITCH .

Disconnect plug connection underneath and remove trim for gear selector switch (2).

Replacement:

Remove switch for electromechanical parking brake , see 61 31 172 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING SWITCH FOR ELECTROMECHANICAL PARKING BRAKE .
