51 61 ... Removing and installing/replacing front rollover protection system strut

Driving without the strut is not permitted!

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove backrest . See 52 24 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING / REPLACING BACKREST .
Remove panel for passenger compartment partition

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 71 27AZ, see 51 71 SEALS AND LOOSE BODY PARTS ..

Release screws (2) and remove strut (3).

Tightening torque 51 71 28AZ, see 51 71 SEALS AND LOOSE BODY PARTS ..

Installation:

Replace all screws.
