13 41 550 Replacing idle actuator (S65)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Read out fault memory of DME control unit
Check stored fault messages
Switch off ignition
Remove intake air manifold . See 11 61 050 REMOVING AND INSTALLING AIR INTAKE MANIFOLD (S65) .
Partially disconnect engine wiring harness , raise cable duct. See 12 51 001 REPLACING WIRING HARNESS SECTION FOR ENGINE (S65) .
Remove tank venting valve

Release air intake hose (1).

Release idle air hose (2).

Replace clamps.

Unlock plug connection and disconnect.

Carefully lever idle actuator out of holder.

Assemble engine.

NOTE: Now clear the fault memory.
