61 31 195 Removing and installing (replacing) front controller

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove trim for storage compartment . See 51 16 212 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRIM FOR STORAGE COMPARTMENT .
Replacement only: Remove knob for controller .

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage
Install knob for controller only when controller is installed.

Release screws (1).

Feed controller (2) in direction of arrow out of trim (3) and remove.
