51 47 440 Removing and installing/replacing rear carpet on seat pan

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove both FRONT SEATS .
- Remove REAR SEAT .
- Remove both PANELS FOR DOOR PILLARS
- Remove both rear inner ENTRANCE COVER STRIPS
- Remove HANDBRAKE LEVER
Version with central bass speaker:
- Remove both CENTRAL BASS SPEAKER TRIMS .
Build date after 09/2005:
- Remove AIRBAG CONTROL UNIT .
Build date up to 08/2005:
If necessary, disconnect plug connections from air duct (1).
Remove air duct (1).
Lay back cable (2) and feed out carpet (3) towards rear/top.
Installation:
Make sure that handbrake Bowden cable, cable, apertures for air guides and attachment points are correctly positioned.
