51 12 156 Removing and installing rear bumper trim

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Lever out cover (1) and release screw underneath.

NOTE: The operation is described on the left side; proceed in the same way for the right side.

Release screw (1).

Bend wheel arch trim (2) in area (A) to one side.

Release screw (3).

Release screws (1 to 3).

NOTE: The operation is described on the left side; proceed in the same way for the right side.
IMPORTANT: Do not detach bumper trim (1) at sides (risk of damage).

Pull bumper trim (1) towards rear and release from catches (2 and 3).

Version with PDC: 

Disconnect plug connection for ultrasonic transducers.

Remove bumper trim (1) towards rear with aid of a 2nd person.
