Three Speed Fan Operation

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 32 other vehicles, including the 2005 Mercury Sable, 2005 Mercury Mountaineer, 2005 Mercury Monterey, 2005 Mercury Montego, and 2005 Mercury Mariner. Although the PCM output circuits are called low, medium and high fan control (FC), cooling fan operation is controlled by a combination of these outputs.

NOTE: The VPWR and LFC circuits may be reversed in the harness connector. Also, the LFC circuit may be wired to 2 separate relays. Refer to SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS for additional information.
