Pinpoint Test Am: The Turn Signal On Warning Chime Is Inoperative

AM1 CHECK THE LCM CONFIGURATION
- Verify the turn signal on warning chime is enabled.
- Is the turn signal warning chime enabled?
1. YES : Go to AM2.
2. NO : ENABLE the turn signal on warning chime function. REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION article. TEST the system for normal operation.
AM2 CHECK OPERATION OF THE TURN SIGNALS
- Key in ON position.
- Operate the turn signals.
- Do the turn signal lamps operate correctly?
1. YES : Go to AM3.
2. NO : REFER to EXTERIOR LIGHTING article.
AM3 CHECK FOR RECORDED ABS MODULE DTCs
- Check for recorded ABS DTCs from the continuous and on-demand self-tests.
- Are any ABS module DTCs present?
1. YES : REFER to VEHICLE DYNAMIC SYSTEMS article.
2. NO : Go to AM4.
AM4 CHECK ODOMETER OPERATION IN THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (IC)
- Observe the odometer display.
- Does the odometer operate correctly?
1. YES : Go to AM5.
2. NO : Go to Pinpoint Test E .
AM5 CHECK FOR CORRECT LCM OPERATION
- Disconnect all the LCM connectors.
- Check for:
  - corrosion
  - damaged pins
  - pushed-out pins
- Connect all the LCM connectors and make sure they seat correctly.
- Operate the system and verify the concern is still present.
- Is the concern still present?
1. YES : INSTALL a new LCM. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES article.
2. NO : The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector.
