Halfshaft Seal: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Using the special tool, install the halfshaft oil seal.
    2. Fig 1: Identifying Halfshaft Oil Seal & Special Tool (308-597)

    NOTE: Do not allow the splines on the halfshaft to touch the oil seal.
  2. Install the RH intermediate shaft or LH halfshaft. For additional information, refer to FRONT DRIVE HALFSHAFTS article.
  3. Fill the transaxle to specification. For additional information, refer to Transaxle Draining and Filling .
