A4: Check Power Supply To Cigar Lighter

With the ignition key in the OFF position, disconnect the Brown wire located in the instrument panel ash receptacle. Turn the ignition key to the ON position and measure the voltage on the Brown wire at the cigar lighter connector. Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? If yes, go to the next step. If no, service the Brown/Yellow wire and/or Brown wire between the interior fuse junction panel and the cigar lighter. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
