Z3: Check Wire Between Instrument Cluster & Diode Junction Box

With the ignition key in the OFF position, locate and disconnect the instrument cluster connector C2 as well as the center green diode strip from the diode junction box. Measure the resistance of the Blue wire between the instrument cluster connector C2 and terminal No. 19 of the diode junction box connector. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Measure the resistance of the Blue wire between the instrument cluster connector C2 and ground. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms between the instrument cluster and the diode junction box and greater than 10,000 ohms between the instrument cluster and ground? If yes, go to the next step. If no, service the Blue wire.
