X1: Check Low Fuel Indicator Circuit

With the ignition key in the OFF position, disconnect the C1 and the C2 instrument cluster connectors. Measure the resistance of the Purple/White wire between the instrument cluster connector C1 and the instrument cluster connector C2. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Measure the resistance of the Purple/White wire between the instrument cluster connector C1 and ground. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms between the instrument cluster connectors, and greater than 10,000 ohms between the instrument cluster and ground? If yes, replace the instrument cluster. If no, service the Purple/White wire.
