M2: Check Vehicle Between Vehicle Speed Sensor & Instrument Cluster

With the ignition key in the ignition, disconnect the C2 and C3 instrument cluster connectors and the vehicle speed sensor connector. Measure the resistance of the Pink/Blue wire between the vehicle speed sensor connector and the instrument cluster connector C3. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Measure the resistance of the Black/Red wire between the instrument cluster connector C2 and the vehicle speed sensor connector. Measure the resistance of the Pink/Blue wire between the instrument cluster connector C3 and ground. Are the resistances less than 5 ohms between the instrument cluster and the vehicle speed sensor, and greater than 10,000 ohms between the Pink/Blue wire at the instrument cluster and ground? If yes, go to the next step. If no, service the wires in question.
