B4: Check For Short To Ground

With the ignition key in the OFF position, remove the 10A ELECTRON BAT fuse and instrument cluster. Locate and disconnect the instrument cluster Connector C3. Measure the resistance of the Purple wire between the right terminal on the 10A ELECTRON BAT fuse and ground, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? If yes, service the Purple wire. If no, replace the 10A ELECTRON BAT fuse and go to the next step.
