AA4: Check Wire Between Diode Junction Box & Generator

With the ignition key in the OFF position, disconnect the generator connector and remove the top black diode strip from the diode junction box. Measure the resistance of the Yellow/Black wire between terminal 5 of the diode junction box connector and the generator connector. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Measure the resistance of the Yellow/Black wire between terminal No. 5 of the diode junction box connector and ground. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms between the diode junction box and the generator, and greater than 10,000 ohms between the diode junction box and ground? If yes, go to the next step. If no, service the Yellow/Black wire.
