AA3: Check Wire Between Instrument Cluster & Diode Junction Box

With the ignition key in the OFF position, disconnect the instrument cluster connector C1. Remove the top black diode strip from the diode junction box located behind the instrument cluster. Measure the resistance of the Yellow/Blue wire between the instrument cluster connector C1 and terminal No. 2 of the diode junction box connector. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Measure the resistance of the Yellow/Blue wire between the instrument cluster connector C1 and ground. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms between the instrument cluster and the diode junction box, and greater than 10,000 ohms between the instrument cluster and ground? If yes, go to the next step. If no, service the Yellow/Blue wire.
