| 1 | Commission Supplemental Restraint System control unit (N2/5). | Only when replacing Supplemental Restraint System control unit (N2/5). | |

| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 3 | Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery. | AR54.10-P-0051S | |
| 4 | Remove center console. | AR68.20-P-2000S | |
| 5 | Remove retaining clips (1). | Fig 1 | |
| 6 | Remove air ducts (2). | ||
| 7 | Remove nuts (3). | *BA91.60-P-1009-01I | |
| 8 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors from Supplemental Restraint System control unit (N2/5). | ||
| 9 | Remove Supplemental Restraint System control unit (N2/5). | ||
| 10 | Install in the reverse order. |
