Remove/Install Compressor For Refrigerator Box Refrigerant - AR86.61-P-1021SG

Model 223 

with code 308 (Refrigerated compartment in rear passenger compartment) 

with code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)

DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by welding and soldering work on refrigerant circuit of refrigerator box. Risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by contact with liquid refrigerant. Never perform welding work on or near refrigerator box or compressor. No smoking or open flames. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated areas. AS86.61-Z-0001-02H

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).    
2 Remove rear center console. Model 223
with code 224 (Individual rear seats)
with code 308 (Refrigerated compartment in rear passenger compartment)
with code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)
 
      AR68.20-P-2020S
3 Remove screws (2) from bracket (1). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw, holder for connecting point of refrigerant lines *BA86.61-P-1001-01B 
4 Remove bracket (1) upwards from refrigerant lines (3, 4).    
5 Remove insulation mat in trunk.    
6 Unscrew screws (6) at refrigerant box refrigerant compressor (5). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw, compressor to body *BA86.61-P-1002-01B 
7 Remove nut (7) at refrigerant box refrigerant compressor (5).    
8 Carefully lift out refrigerant box refrigerant compressor (5). NOTES
Ensure that refrigerant lines (3, 4) are not kinked. Refrigerant lines (3, 4) will otherwise be damaged and function of refrigerator box refrigerant compressor (5) is no longer ensured.
 
9 Install in the reverse order    
  Concluding tasks     
10 Empty refrigerant circuit of refrigerator box refrigerant compressor (5), evacuate and refill. When replacing refrigerator box refrigerant compressor (5) due to a leak in refrigerant circuit.
