| 1 | Remove upper Engine cover. | ||

| 2 | Remove expansion rivets (1). | ||
| 3 | Detach the air intake pipe (2) upstream of the air filter and remove. | ||
| 4 | Position air extraction system in working area and switch on. | ||

| 5 | Remove the purge line (3) from the purge valve (Y58) and place it to one side. | Do not crush, kink or subject purge line (3) to tension. This will result in damage to purge line (3) and impair its function. |

| 6 | Seal exposed connections using suitable plugs. | Fig 1 | |
| 7 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (4). | ||
| 8 | Remove the purge valve (Y58). | ||
| 9 | Seal exposed connections using suitable plugs. | Fig 1 | |
| 10 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 11 | Read out and delete fault memory. | ||
