	Remove/install
1	Remove front axle shafts.	Engine 279 in model 223 with code M005 (Vehicles with 4MATIC/all-wheel drive)	AR33.30-P-0620S
2	Remove engine transmission unit (4) with front axle carrier (1).		AR01.10-P-2500SVZ
3	Attach engine lifting lug (2).	Screw/bolt for engine suspension lug at top	*BA01.30-P-1007-01Z

4	Secure front axle carrier (1) to lifting platform against slipping and falling down using tensioning strap.

5	Attach load tilter to engine lifting lug (2), engine lifting lug (arrow) and to engine crane.	Commercially available devices/tools

6	Remove tension belt from engine transmission unit (4).
7	Carefully lift engine transmission unit slightly (4).	Do not subject engine mounts (3) to tension. Otherwise, the engine mounts (3) will be damaged.
8	Remove engine mounts (3) at respective engine carrier.	Screw front engine mount to engine support	*BA22.10-P-1002-03S
9	Lift engine transmission unit (4) off front axle carrier (1) and set down on suitable base.	Commercially available devices/tools

10	Install in the reverse order.
