	Risk of burn injuries,  suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust.	Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the danger zone.	AS49.00-Z-0001-01A

	Remove/install
1	Remove gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor with connected hoses and together with bracket, and place to one side.		AR07.04-P-0025SB
		Do not install upper engine cover until after the leak test.
2	Remove screws (2)	Screw, side heat shield to upper heat shield	*BA09.40-P-1014-02MRT
3	Unclip heat shield (3) from heat shield (4) and remove.
4	Remove nut (5).	Nut/screw, heat shield to exhaust gas turbocharger/heat shield	*BA09.40-P-1004-02MRT
5	Unclip heat shield (4) from heat shield (6) and remove.
6	Release and disconnect electrical connectors (7, 9) and remove plug housings from the brackets (10, 11).
7	Release and disconnect electrical connector from plug housing (8).
8	Unclip electric lines (12).
9		Replace clamp (13). Replace seal.
		Screw, Exhaust system to Exhaust gas turbocharger	*BA49.10-P-1002-02Y
10	Remove exhaust system from catalytic converter (1).		AR49.10-P-7142S
		Only install center and rear lower rear engine compartment lining again after leak test.
11	Remove screw (20) and remove bracket (10).
12	Unscrew screws (19) and remove holder (21).	Screw, Hot end to front bracket	*BA49.10-P-1037-02Y
13	Remove screws (14) and unfasten heat shield (15) from heat shield (16) and remove.	Heat shield (16) remains in vehicle.
14	Remove screws (17).	Screw, Hot end to rear bracket	*BA49.10-P-1035-02Y
15	Remove screws (18).	Screw, Hot end to center bracket	*BA49.10-P-1036-02Y
16	Remove catalytic converter (1).
17	Remove combustion and corrosion residue at connecting points.
18	Install in the reverse order.
19	Read out and delete fault memory.

	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
20	Perform an engine test run; check the engine for proper operation and the exhaust system for leaks.
