	Remove/install
1	Carefully open cap (1.1), release overpressure, and remove cap (1.1) from high-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (1).
2	Suction off coolant from high-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (1).	Hand pump	Fig 2
3	Release and disconnect the electrical connector (2).
4	Remove coolant hose (3) from high-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (1).	Capture escaping coolant using suitable means.	AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
5	Remove electrical wiring harnesses (4, 5) from high-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (1).	Dismantling tool	Fig 1
6	Remove expansion rivet (6).	Dismantling tool.	Fig 1
7	Carefully pull high-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (1) out of elastomer bearings until coolant hose (7) is accessible.
8	Clamp off coolant hose (7) with clamping device.	Clamp	Fig 3
9	Remove high-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (1) from coolant hose (7).	Capture escaping coolant using suitable means	AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
10	Remove high-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (1).	Moisten elastomer bearings (arrows) at mounts for high-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (1) with lubricant. Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
	Check
11	Check elastomer bearings (arrows) for damage.	If damage is present: ↓ replace damaged elastomer bearing (arrows).
12	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
13	Check coolant level and correct if necessary.	Cooling system	*BF20.00-P-1001-02GA
14	Check high-temperature circuit for leaks.		AR20.00-P-1011SVZ
