	Risk of injury  to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant.	Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the overpressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. 	Remove
1	Switch on ignition.
2	Adjust heater to maximum heating output.
3	Carefully open cap of high-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (1), release overpressure, and remove cap.
4	Check coolant level of high-temperature circuit, correct if necessary.	Cooling system	*BF20.00-P-1001-02GA
5	Attach tester cap (2) to high-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (1).	Test cap	Fig 1
6	Connect pressure pump (3) to tester cap (2).	Test cap	Fig 1

	Check
7	Apply test pressure to high-temperature circuit for 2 min.	Do not exceed the specified test pressure. Damage will occur otherwise to the engine cooling system. There should be no pressure loss within a period of 2 minutes.

8	Perform visual check of coolant-carrying component parts and connecting points for condition and coolant loss.	Where pressure loss is detected.
	Install
9	Release overpressure via valve on pressure pump (3).
10	Remove pressure pump (3) from tester cap (2).
11	Detach tester cap (2) from high-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (1).
12	Switch off ignition.
13	Check coolant level and antifreeze content of high-temperature circuit, correct if necessary.	Cooling system	*BF20.00-P-1001-02GA
14	Seal high-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (2) with cap.
