| 1 | Carefully open cap (1) of high-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (2), release overpressure, and remove cap (1). | ||
| 2 | Remove front engine compartment lining and right side front engine compartment lining. | AR61.20-P-1105S | |
| Drain off | |||
| 3 | Slide suitable drain hose onto drain fitting (3). | ||
| 4 | Open drain valve (4) and collect coolant in a suitable container. | ||
| 5 | Close drain valve (4) and remove drain hose. | ||
| 6 | Disconnect coolant line (5) from additional cooler and collect coolant in a suitable container. | AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ | |
| 7 | Connect coolant line (5) to additional cooler. | AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ | |
| Pour in | |||
| 8 | Connect diagnostic system, switch on ignition, and start fill mode of engine cooling system. | ||

| 9 | Fill and bleed engine cooling system. | Do not fill engine cooling system without activating fill mode. Proper distribution of the coolant is otherwise not ensured. |
