| 6 | Check elastomer molded seal (12) in thermostat housing. | If elastomer molded seal (12) is damaged: ↓ Replace elastomer molded seal (12). |

| 8 | Remove vacuum lines (6) from wastegate pressure transducer (Y31/3) and place to one side. | ||
| 9 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors (5) and place electrical wiring harness (8) to one side. | ||

| 11 | Remove lower expansion reservoir (2) until coolant line (4) on lower expansion reservoir (2) is accessible. | Do not crush, kink, or subject coolant line (4) to tension. This will result in damage to the coolant line (4) and can impair its function. |
