Remove/Install Rear Door Liner - AR72.12-P-1011S

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).    
2 Remove the cover (6). Model 223
with code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)
 
    SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge Fig 1
3 Remove armrest (2).   AR72.12-P-1020S 
    Model 223
except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)
 
4 Remove screws (3).    
5 Starting from the bottom, unclip door trim (1) and remove from sealing rail. NOTES
Do not subject the entire width of the door trim (1) in the area above the door handle to tension and compression.
Otherwise, the ambient lighting might be damaged.
 
    INSTALLATION NOTES
Ensure that the retaining clips are seated correctly on the door trim (1).
They will be damaged otherwise.
 
    SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge Fig 1
6 Lift door trim (1) until electrical wiring harness (5) and wire (4) can be accessed.    
7 Detach wire (4) of inside door opener.    
8 Disconnect electrical wiring harness (5) from rear door control unit. IMPORTANT Number of electrical connectors can vary depending on equipment installed.  
9 Remove door trim (1).    
INSPECT Check     
10 Check retaining clips of the door trim (1) for damage. If there is a problem:

replace corresponding retaining clip.
 
11 Install in the reverse order.
