| 3 | Release and disconnect electrical connector at front door interior central locking system button group (S85/5, S85/6). | ||
| 4 | Remove bolts (4). | ||
| 5 | Remove front door interior central locking system button group (S85/5, S85/6). | ||
| 6.1 | Drill out plastic spot welds (5). | If inside door handle (2) is attached with plastic spot welds. | |

| 7 | Remove inside door handle (2). | ||
| Install | |||
| 8 | Position inside door handle (2). | ||
| 9 | Screw in new screws. | ||
| 10 | Position front door interior central locking system button group (S85/5, S85/6). | ||
| 11 | Screw in screws/bolts (4). | ||
| 12 | Connect electrical connector to front door interior central locking system button group (S85/5, S85/6). | ||
| 13 | Attach couplings (3) to light-guiding elements. | Model 223 with code 891 (Premium ambiance illumination) |
