General
Using the power closing actuator motor (1), the door can be closed with low physical effort in an almost noiseless manner. The power closing actuator motor (1) is located in the respective door at the bottom on the door module.
Function
If the lock is pressed into the safety catch, the closing procedure starts. When the main catch is reached, the closing procedure is ended and the drive is briefly energized in the opposite direction in order to relieve the mechanical system. When the door is opened, the drive is energized in the opposite direction in order to reach the start position. The closing procedure can be interrupted by pulling the external or inside door handle lever. The power closing actuator motor (1) is actuated by the respective door control unit.
