| 1 | Remove handle strip (1) from trunk lid. | Model 223 Model 223.0/1 |

| 2 | Remove trunk lid trim. | Model 223 Model 223.0/1 |

| 3 | Release catch hooks (arrows) and remove license plate lamp (E19/1, E19/2) until electrical connector can be disconnected. | ||
| 4 | Disconnect electrical connector and remove license plate lamp (E19/1, E19/2). | ||
| 5 | Install in the reverse order. |
