	Remove/install
1	Remove seat backrest trim of center seat backrest.	Model 167.1 with code 567 (Vario rear seat) Model 167.9 with code 226 (7-seater with 3rd seat row) except code M036 (Maybach version)	AR91.12-P-1134ME
2	Fold down armrest (1).
3	Release cover (2) at rear of seat backrest frame (arrows A) and remove upwards.	Model 167.1 as of 27.06.2019, model 167.9 The cover (2) is also clipped in at the side (arrows B). Ensure that guides are seated correctly. Long wedge	Fig 1
4	Remove screw/bolts (3).	Bolt, armrest to backrest frame	*BA91.12-P-1006-03M
5.1	Remove armrest (1).	Except code 447 (Touchscreen in rear passenger compartment (rear touchscreen)), except code P08 (Rear Comfort Package)
5.2	Remove armrest (1) far enough to gain access to the electrical connectors (4).	With code 447 (Touchscreen in rear passenger compartment (rear touchscreen)) or code P08 (Rear Comfort Package)
6	Disconnect electrical connectors (4) and remove armrest (1).	With code 447 (Touchscreen in rear passenger compartment (rear touchscreen)) or code P08 (Rear Comfort Package) The number of electrical connectors (4) varies depending on the vehicle equipment involved.
7	Install in the reverse order.
