	Remove/install
1	Remove side window of rear door.	Model 118.3/6	AR67.30-P-0006MFC
		Model 177.0/1/9, 243.6/7, 247.6/7	AR67.30-P-0006MFA
2	Disconnect ground line from battery.		AR54.10-P-0003MFA
3	Release and disconnect electrical connector (X35/3x1, X35/4x1).
4	Remove outside door handle.		AR72.12-P-2410MFA
5	Loosen bolts (5).
6	Push bearing bracket (6) forward and unhook.
7	Remove bolts (7) from door lock.	Model 118.3/6 Bolt, door lock to rear door	*BA72.12-P-1005-01R
		Model 177, 243, 247 Bolt, door lock to rear door	*BA72.12-P-1007-01T
8.1	Remove screws (8) from door module (1).	When fastening door module (1) using screws (8). : Repair stage 1: If screws (8) are turn freely, screws with a larger diameter are available from EPC for fastening the door module (1). Repair stage 2: If larger screws are also stripped out, rivets for mounting door module (1) are available from EPC.
8.2	Drill out rivet heads of rivets on door module (1).	When fastening the door module (1) using rivets. Commercially available equipment: Blind riveting tool
9	Release door module (1) from rear door.
10	Remove door module (1) with locking system and pull electrical connector (X35/3x1, X35/4x1) with wiring harness out of rear door.	Helper required.
11	Drill out rest of rivets, press remaining rest of rivets out of inner door panel, and completely remove rest of rivets and shavings from rear door.	When fastening the door module (1) using rivets. Removal tool	Fig 1
12	Install in the reverse order.
