Remove/Install Rear Door - AR72.12-P-0600MFA

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Open side window of rear door (1).    
2 Disconnect the ground line for the on-board electrical system battery (G1).   AR54.10-P-0003MFA
3 Release and disconnect electrical connector of rear door (X35/3x1, X35/4x1).    
4 Remove cover caps over grub screws (4, 6).    
5 Unscrew grub screws (4, 6) of hinge supports (3, 5) by three turns. INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Wet thread of grub screws (4, 6) with Loctite.

6 Remove screw (8) of the door holder (2). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 118
Bolt, door holder on body		 *BA72.12-P-1007-01R 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 177, 243, 247
Bolt, door holder on body		 *BA72.12-P-1006-01T 
7 Remove rear door (1) upwards from hinge supports (3, 5) and set down on suitable base. NOTES
Carefully remove rear door (1) and insert.
If the rear door (1) comes into contact, the paint can be damaged.
IMPORTANT Helper required.		  
8 Install in the reverse order.    
  Concluding tasks     
9 Check gap dimensions at rear door (1), adjust rear door (1) if necessary. Model 243.6/7 AR60.00-P-0700-01EQA

11 Protect rear door (1) in area of hinge against corrosion. Model 243 AR97.20-P-1500EQA

12 Normalize power window.
